    BALKANS AND GREEK ISLANDS

    Day 1: Arrival in Skopje, North Macedonia

    Balkans and Greek Islands start: Arrival at Skopje Airport. Transfer to the hotel. You will have free time to rest and relax after your flight.

    In the evening, enjoy a warm welcome with a traditional Macedonian dinner. Taste authentic local dishes and meet your fellow travelers. During dinner, we will go over the itinerary and answer any questions.

    Day 2: Explore Skopje – Capital of North Macedonia

    After breakfast, we begin our Skopje sightseeing tour. Explore both the old and new parts of this vibrant city.

    Day 3: Canyon Matka Adventure

    After breakfast, we head 20 km southwest of Skopje to Canyon Matka.

    We start the tour at the 14th-century Monastery of Matka, then walk along the River Treska, famous for kayaking. The scenic trail leads us past the Dam and Lake Matka, ending at Monastery St. Andrew.

    A small boat takes us on a ride through the canyon, surrounded by dramatic vertical cliffs. We also visit Vrelo Cave, one of the deepest underwater caves in Europe.

    Day 4: Day Trip to Pristina, Kosovo Balkans and Greek Islands

    Following breakfast, we travel 90 km to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.

    Discover Pristina’s cultural richness through UNESCO heritage sites, Ottoman-era buildings, and narrow cobbled streets. Marvel at the striking “Newborn” monument, symbolizing Kosovo’s independence and future.

    In the evening, we return to Skopje.

    Day 5: Travel to Thessaloniki, Greece Balkans and Greek Islands

    After breakfast and check-out, we head to Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest city.

    Thessaloniki is a thriving commercial, industrial, and cultural hub. Its charming streets, delicious cuisine, and sweeping sea views will steal your heart. The drive from Skopje is approximately 250 km.

    Day 6: Old Town Thessaloniki & Chalkidiki Beaches

    We begin the day with breakfast, followed by a visit to Thessaloniki’s Upper Town. This ancient area is over 2,300 years old and is crowned by the Byzantine fort Heptapyrgio.

    In the afternoon, we head to Chalkidiki Peninsula, Northern Greece’s most popular beach destination. Visit Kalithea Beach, awarded the Blue Flag for its crystal-clear waters. We’ll also stop at the Temple of Zeus Ammon, a historic site from the 4th century BC.

    Overnight in Thessaloniki.

    Day 7: Santorini Island, Greece

    After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Thessaloniki Airport for a flight to Santorini Island.

    Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we tour Oia, Santorini’s most famous village. Known for its dazzling white houses and legendary sunsets, Oia feels like a postcard come to life.

    Day 8: Fira – Capital of Santorini

    Enjoy breakfast before heading to Fira, Santorini’s capital. This picturesque town blends Cycladic and Venetian architecture, offering a unique cultural experience.

    Explore its charming streets and local shops. Learn about its history, dating back to the late 18th century.

    Day 9: Journey to Mykonos Island

    After breakfast and check-out, transfer to the port of Santorini. Ferry to Mykonos Island.

    Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure.

    Day 10: Discovering Mykonos

    After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Mykonos.

    Known as the “island of the winds,” Mykonos is part of the Cyclades. It’s famous for luxury resorts, nightlife, and stunning beaches. Its cosmopolitan charm attracts visitors from around the globe.

    Day 11: Welcome to Athens, Greece

    After breakfast and check-out, transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens.

    Athens is the birthplace of democracy, art, science, and philosophy. Walk in the footsteps of Plato, Socrates, and Pericles. With over 3,400 years of recorded history, Athens is one of the world’s oldest cities.

    Day 12: Wine Tasting in Athens Balkans and Greek Islands

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Spend your morning exploring Athens on your own or shopping for souvenirs.

    In the afternoon, experience a private wine tasting tour under the Acropolis. Discover rare Greek wines guided by an experienced sommelier. Taste wines from different regions paired with delicious local products.

    Day 13: Istanbul, Turkey

    After breakfast and check-out, transfer to the airport. Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel.

    In the afternoon, we begin a sightseeing tour. Learn about the city’s transformation from Byzantium to Constantinople, and finally to modern-day Istanbul. Discover the city’s blend of East and West, old and new.

    Day 14: Bosphorus Dinner Cruise

    After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore Istanbul.

    In the evening, we board a luxurious boat for a Bosphorus Dinner Cruise. Admire Istanbul’s illuminated skyline, enjoy a delicious three-course meal, and watch a live Turkish Night Show with belly dancers and whirling dervishes.

    Day 15: Balkans and Greek Islands – Departure

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

    Your journey ends with memories of three incredible countries—North Macedonia, Greece, and Turkey—each offering unique culture, cuisine, and history.
