This five-day ISREAL CLASSIC TOUR takes you across the country, from north to south, allowing you to visit the highlights that Israel has to offer. It’s the perfect introduction for anyone eager to explore the best of Israel in a short period. During the tour, you’ll visit Jerusalem, both the Old City and the modern areas, and float in the Dead Sea. The tour also includes exploring northern Israel with stops in Nazareth and around the Sea of Galilee, as well as visiting Bethlehem and the ancient city of Jericho. This tour is available throughout the year, and rates include accommodation, transportation, and services from fully licensed and experienced tour guides.
Begin your journey in the heart of Jerusalem, a city sacred to many. Explore the four quarters of the Old City, each with its rich history. In the Jewish Quarter, visit the Western Wall, one of Judaism’s most holy sites. Next, follow the Via Dolorosa in the Christian Quarter, walking the path Jesus is believed to have taken. You will also stop at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, an important pilgrimage site.
Afterward, enjoy sweeping views from the Mount of Olives. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane, where you’ll visit both the Basilica of Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony. Later, take a leisurely walk from Tzahal Square through the Municipality Complex, down Jaffa Street, and on to Davidka Square. Finally, experience the vibrant Machane Yehuda Market, where the sights, sounds, and flavors come alive.
Start your day with a visit to Bethlehem, the city where Jesus was born. Explore the Church of the Nativity, the oldest church in the Holy Land. Then, head to the nearby Milk Grotto Church, a peaceful and sacred site.
Afterward, travel to Tel Aviv, Israel’s lively coastal capital. Visit the Old City of Jaffa, one of the oldest ports in the world. You will also stop at St. Peter’s Church, an important landmark overlooking the sea. To end the day, admire Tel Aviv’s world-renowned Bauhaus architecture, recognized by UNESCO for its unique design.
Arrive at the Sea of Galilee, Israel’s largest freshwater lake, and the source of the sacred Jordan River. Take a scenic boat ride across the Sea of Galilee, retracing the steps of ancient times.
Afterward, enjoy a traditional lunch at a local fish restaurant and try St. Peter’s Fish (Tilapia), the same variety believed to have been served during the miracle at Tabgha. Continue on to the Church of the Multiplication in Taghba, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding valley.
Next, head to Nazareth, the childhood home of Jesus and Israel’s largest Arab city. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, a key pilgrimage site, and stop at Mary’s Well and St. Joseph’s Carpentry Shop, two local landmarks. Before concluding your day, visit Cana, the site of Jesus’ first miracle, where couples have the opportunity to renew their marriage vows.
Start the day in Jericho, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Take a cable car ride to the Mount of Temptation, where Jesus is believed to have fasted for 40 days.
Afterward, head to the Jordan River Baptismal Site, a place of deep spiritual significance, where many visitors choose to reflect or take part in a symbolic baptism.
The last stop of the day is the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Float effortlessly in the salty waters and experience the natural healing properties of the Dead Sea mud. End your day with a traditional lunch at a local restaurant before heading back.
On the final day of your journey, you may have some free time depending on your flight schedule. This is the perfect opportunity for last-minute shopping, a leisurely walk through the city, or simply reflecting on your experiences over the past few days. Once your time in Israel has come to an end, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
